About three years old at the old place at Rabbit Creek, Kilgore, Texas

A wild young sailor I was.  Nearly three years on a "Tin Can" the USS Robert H McCard (DD-822).  We went from Charleston all the way to Bombay (Mumbai) India.  Last year and a half in Vietnam on Advisory Teams 55 and 159 Kien Giang Province.
